PIKEXPRESS – SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY

1. Delivery Method

All orders placed on PikExpress are shipped from outside Ghana through our global logistics partners. Once items arrive in Ghana, they are cleared through customs and delivered to your address or nearest pickup point.

We currently do not offer same-day or next-day delivery.

2. Delivery Timeline (Realistic Estimates)

PikExpress offers three main shipping categories, depending on the product ordered:

A. Express Shipping (3 – 10 Days)

Applicable to:

Mobile Phones
Laptops
Smart Watches
Tablets
Drones

These products are shipped using faster logistics channels to ensure quicker delivery.

B. Standard Shipping (3 – 14 Days)

Applicable to:

General goods
Sensitive or fragile goods (e.g., breakables)

Delivery may vary based on supplier location and customs release times.

C. Economy/Shipment Shipping (20 – 45 Days)

Applicable to:

Bulk or low-cost items shipped via slower ocean shipment channels

This delivery method takes longer due to international freight schedules and port clearance procedures.

3. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Certain products may require more time due to supplier verification or warehouse preparation.

Once shipped, you will receive:

Tracking ID (when applicable)
Shipping confirmation message (SMS or email)

 

4. Shipping Fees

Because shipping is international, fees are calculated based on:

Package size and weight
Supplier shipping class

Shipping fees are always shown at checkout before payment.

Free or discounted shipping may be offered on selected items or promotions.

5. Customs Duties & Taxes

PikExpress orders include pre-paid duties and taxes.
If an item requires additional customs charges upon arrival, PikExpress will notify you before shipment.
Customers will not be surprised with hidden charges after delivery.

 

6. Tracking & Updates

Not all overseas shipments offer real-time tracking, but where available:

Tracking numbers will be provided
Tracking updates may be slower for international carriers
Status may only update once the item reaches Ghana

7. Delivery Attempts

Couriers make one to two delivery attempts once the item reaches your local area.
If delivery fails (wrong address, customer unavailable), the package may be held at a pickup point or returned to logistics.

Re-delivery fees may apply if the first attempts fail.

8. Lost, Missing, or Damaged Items

Because international shipping involves longer transit:

Damaged Items

Report within 48 hours of delivery with photo/video evidence.

Missing Items / Incomplete Package

Report within 72 hours of receiving the package.

Lost Items

If your package is confirmed lost during:

Overseas shipment
Customs handling
Domestic delivery

PikExpress will issue a refund or replacement, depending on item availability.

9. Returns for  Shipments

Because shipments come from overseas:

Returns for reasons not related to product fault (e.g., change of mind) may not be supported or may incur shipping fees higher than the product cost.
Returns for wrong, defective, or damaged items are supported.

Your order typically progresses through:

1. Order Confirmed
2. Supplier Processing
3. International Dispatch
4. In Transit to Ghana
5. Customs Clearance
6. Local Delivery to Your Address

This is a realistic delivery chain for import-only platforms in Ghana.

11. Items Delayed at Customs

Sometimes customs may:

Inspect packages
Request documentation
Delay clearance during peak traffic

These delays are outside our control, but PikExpress will assist customers in resolving issues where possible.
