Passport Scanner is able to read an document that is compliant with ICAO9303 standard such as passport, Visa, local ID cards, driver’s license and etc. The MRZ on the ID documetns is a very important feature for the ICAO9303 ID documents and the device now is able to decode the ID-1, ID-2 and ID-3 MRZ . It is not enough for a scanner to just decode MRZ, the birometric data in the eID and ePassport need to read out in most of the cases.
